Fashion student April Lampros has filed a lawsuit against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing him of drugging and sexually assaulting her more than two decades ago in New York City. The 51-year-old woman alleges that Combs, now 54, promised to mentor her and provide industry connections before becoming aggressive and coercive.

Lampros claims that she met Combs in 1994 while studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology. According to the lawsuit, she was assaulted on four occasions, including being forced to take ecstasy and have sex with Combs’ former girlfriend Kim Porter. Lampros also discovered that Combs allegedly recorded their encounters without her knowledge and showed the recordings to others.
The suit, filed in the Supreme Court of New York County, accuses Combs of battery, sexual assault, infliction of emotional distress, and gender-motivated violence. Representatives for Combs have not yet responded to the allegations.
The first assault, according to Lampros, occurred in 1995 after meeting Combs at a bar in New York City. She alleges that Combs pressured her to drink alcohol and later forced himself on top of her in a hotel room, despite her protests and attempts to resist. Lampros claims she passed out as Combs raped her.
After the incident, Lampros says Combs sent gifts and flowers to lure her back, eventually leading to another assault in a parking garage where he forced her to perform oral sex. The suit details a third encounter in 1996 where Combs allegedly forced Lampros to engage in sexual acts with Porter after drugging them both.

Lampros ended her relationship with Combs in 1998, claiming that Porter and Combs got her fired from a bar and that Combs continued to harass her. The lawsuit also mentions an encounter in 2000 where Combs forced himself on Lampros in her apartment, leading to further distress for the victim.
In a statement, Lampros expressed confidence that justice will prevail, hoping to prevent other women from experiencing similar trauma. The lawsuit, filed by attorney Tyrone Blackburn, names Combs, Bad Boy Records, Arista Records, and Sony Music Entertainment as respondents.
The accusations against Combs come amidst a series of legal troubles for the music mogul, including a federal criminal investigation and multiple lawsuits alleging sexual and physical abuse. Combs has denied all allegations of abuse and wrongdoing but recently issued an apology for his behavior in a video showing him assaulting a woman identified as Cassie Ventura.
Since Cassie’s lawsuit was settled, other women have come forward with assault allegations against Combs, including Crystal McKinney, who claims he assaulted her in 2003. Combs’ representatives have not commented on McKinney’s lawsuit, and other suits remain pending.
Combs’ attorneys have sought to dismiss some of the lawsuits, emphasizing that no criminal or civil liability has been established. The recent searches of Combs’ properties in Los Angeles and Miami yielded firearms but no further details. Combs cooperated with authorities during the searches, according to his attorney, Aaron Dyer, who criticized the rush to judgment based on “meritless accusations” from civil lawsuits..
