Death – Obituary- Cause of Death News : We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Kelsey Lauren Price, of Olathe, Kansas. Kelsey was just 14 years old when she tragically lost her life in a car accident on May 23.
Kelsey was a bright and vibrant young girl who brought joy and laughter to all who knew her. She was a student at Olathe East High School, where she excelled academically and was involved in various extracurricular activities. Kelsey had a passion for dance and was a member of the school’s dance team, where she showcased her talent and dedication to the art form.

Outside of school, Kelsey loved spending time with her friends and family. She had a contagious smile and a kind heart that made her a true joy to be around. Kelsey had a love for animals, especially her pet dog, Max, who she adored and considered a part of the family.
Kelsey’s passing has left a void in our hearts that can never be filled. She was taken from us far too soon, and we will always cherish the memories we shared with her. Kelsey will be remembered for her kindness, her passion for life, and her unwavering spirit.
As we mourn the loss of our dear Kelsey, we are grateful for the outpouring of love and support from our community. The overwhelming support has been a source of comfort during this difficult time, and we are thankful for all those who have reached out to offer their condolences.
A memorial service will be held in honor of Kelsey on Saturday, May 30, at the Olathe Community Center. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects to Kelsey and her family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Olathe Animal Shelter in Kelsey’s memory, as she had a deep love and compassion for animals.
