Sarita, Poonam, Jyoti, Divya : Kanpur Teen Kills 6 in Porsche Crash

Amidst the nationwide shock and sorrow over the tragic Pune Porsche crash, another disturbing incident has come to light in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. A 15-year-old boy has been involved in a horrific accident that resulted in the death of four innocent people. The incident occurred on Tuesday night when a group of women were crossing GT Road near Maharajpur police station.

Kanpur Tragedy

The victims, identified as Sarita, Poonam Pandey, Jyoti Tiwari, and Divya, were rushed to the hospital after being hit by the teenager’s car. Unfortunately, they were declared dead upon arrival. This is not the first time the young boy has been involved in such a fatal accident. Reports suggest that last October, his reckless driving led to the death of two individuals.

The teenager has been sent to a juvenile home following the latest incident, and legal proceedings from the previous case have been reopened. Kanpur City Commissioner Akhil Kumar expressed his disappointment in the boy’s family for allowing him to drive again after his previous offence. He emphasized the importance of responsible driving and assured that the city police are taking necessary steps to address the issue of underage driving.

The police reported that the boy was charged with reckless driving under IPC sections 279 and 338 after colliding with the group of women. While the injured victims received immediate medical attention, the boy’s father, a well-known doctor in the city, has also been charged in connection with both accidents.

Pune Porsche Crash Update

The recent events in Kanpur come at a time when the country is still reeling from the shocking incident involving a wealthy young individual in Pune. The individual, who was allegedly under the influence of alcohol, caused the deaths of two tech professionals while driving a Porsche.

The father of the accused, a prominent builder, has been arrested and is currently in police custody until May 24. Additionally, the Pune crime branch has interrogated the 17-year-old’s grandfather in connection with the case.
