RICHMOND POLICE IDENTIFY VICTIM OF SOUTH SIDE HOMICIDE
In a tragic turn of events, the victim of a recent homicide in Richmond’s Southside has been identified as 18-year-old Tyshawn White. The young man was found shot dead inside a home on Edwards Avenue on Wednesday, May 22nd.

DISCOVERY OF THE CRIME SCENE
The shocking incident unfolded around 1:27 p.m. when officers responded to a call reporting a person shot in the 1600 block of Edwards Avenue. Upon arrival, they were directed to the victim by a relative, who was found unresponsive with a fatal gunshot wound inside the residence. Sadly, Tyshawn White was pronounced dead at the scene.
