In a recent incident near Humble, a woman was caught on video firing into the air after a car crash. The woman, identified as Mykeria Mitchell, 21, has now been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful carry of a weapon.

**Victim’s Terrifying Account**

The victim, who chose to remain anonymous out of fear of retaliation, revealed that the video circulating online only shows part of the terrifying ordeal. According to the victim, the situation was even scarier than what was captured on video.

“I have nightmares,” the 25-year-old victim shared. “It was five bullets. So it was not two. It was five.”

The gunfire occurred after a crash along the feeder road of the North Sam Houston Parkway East near Humble on May 14. The victim explained that she was rear-ended and immediately called her mother and sister-in-law for assistance. However, instead of receiving help, they were met with gunfire.

As the victim’s relatives approached Mitchell to check on her well-being, they were startled by the sound of gunshots. The victim described hearing three shots before seeing her mother and sister-in-law running towards safety.

The victim recounted the moment when Mitchell pointed the gun at the passing vehicle and fired into the air. The situation quickly escalated as Mitchell also tapped on the victim’s window with the gun and pointed it directly at her.

**Arrest and Legal Proceedings**

Following the incident, Mitchell fled the scene but was apprehended shortly after by the authorities. She is currently out on bail amounting to $30,000. Mitchell’s court-appointed attorney has not issued any comments regarding the case.

**Trauma and Gratitude**

The victim, a mother of two young children, expressed her trauma but also gratitude that no one was physically harmed in the incident.

“Once a bullet goes up, it comes down. Imagine if it hit somebody,” the victim stated. “Imagine if she would have killed me? My babies wouldn’t have a mom.”
