The shocking incident unfolded in August 2022 when officers responded to a call on Sandle Drive and discovered Shane Payne Sr. lifeless inside his home, riddled with gunshot wounds. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene, leaving the community reeling in disbelief.

Just three days later, another shooting incident on Ortega Farms Boulevard claimed the life of 16-year-old Timothy Dixon, who succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to a local hospital.
