Authorities located Abeyta walking in the 100 block of Meredith Avenue with the assistance of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department helicopter. He was promptly arrested and booked on multiple charges, including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, felon in possession of a firearm, criminal threats, and robbery.

Additionally, an alleged accomplice, 37-year-old Amanda Soto from Pomona, was also arrested on suspicion of robbery. Soto had an active warrant for her arrest and is currently being held on $125,000 bail.
