In a disturbing turn of events, a man with a history of sex crimes was arrested for attempting to have sexual relations with a 12-year-old girl in Sacramento County. The suspect, identified as 36-year-old Kahlilullah Razaq, approached the young girl at a bus stop and made inappropriate advances towards her.

According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, the incident took place around 2:30 p.m. when the girl was waiting for a bus. Razaq approached her, inquired about her age and destination, and then propositioned her for sex. The girl, feeling scared, lied about her age and boarded the bus with the man.

Despite the alarming situation, the young girl showed remarkable presence of mind. She managed to take a photo of Razaq, send it to her parents, and inform them that she was being followed. When the bus arrived at their destination, Razaq followed the girl off the bus, prompting her to call 9-1-1 immediately.

Responding swiftly to the call, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Deputies arrived at the scene and searched for Razaq. Although they were unable to find him initially, the deputies located the young girl and ensured her safety by escorting her home.
