Early Saturday morning in Dinajpur district, a devastating accident took place at the Kauga intersection, resulting in the loss of two lives. The victims were identified as Azhar Ali, a 60-year-old security guard from Biswanathpur village, and Rana, a 25-year-old resident of Kauga village.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:15 am when a tank lorry crashed into a roadside shop. It was reported that the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the tragic collision. Following the accident, the driver of the tank lorry, Raju Khandakar, aged 30, and his helper Sohag, also 30, were apprehended by the authorities for further investigation. The bodies of the deceased were transported to the Dinajpur M Abdur Rahim Medical College Mortuary for post-mortem examinations.
