In a tragic turn of events, two individuals lost their lives in a horrifying road accident in the Dianjpur Sadar Upazila. The incident took place at around 5:30am on Saturday morning at Kaugamor in Shoshra Union. The speeding truck lorry crashed into a roadside tea shop, resulting in the untimely demise of Azhar Ali and Rana.

Details of the Deceased
Azhar Ali, a night guard from Biswanathpur village, and Rana, a youth from Kauga Hatkhola village, were the unfortunate victims of this devastating accident. The two individuals were enjoying a cup of tea at Sobhan’s tea shop when the Dinajpur-bound vehicle collided with the establishment, claiming their lives instantly.

Azhar Ali and Rana were then transported to the M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital morgue for further examination through autopsies. Law enforcement officials took immediate action by apprehending the driver, Raju Khandaker, and the helper, Md Shoahg.

According to Officer-in-Charge Farid Hossain of the Kotwali Police Station, the driver of the truck lorry was allegedly asleep at the wheel when the fatal crash occurred. As the investigation unfolds, legal repercussions will be pursued against Raju Khandaker for his negligent actions that led to the loss of two innocent lives.
