In a tragic turn of events, two individuals have been charged in connection with a fatal shooting in Mississauga that claimed the life of a 37-year-old man from Toronto. However, an armed and dangerous suspect remains at large, prompting a Canada-wide manhunt.
## The Incident
The gruesome incident took place on March 21, when two men were shot at while in the parking lot of an event space in the area of Dixie Road and Queensway East. One of the victims, Alastair Robinson, tragically lost his life after being struck by a bullet, while the other, an 18-year-old resident of Whitby, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

After an extensive investigation, Peel Regional police announced on Tuesday that two suspects have been apprehended in connection with the shooting. Brampton resident Shawn Downey-Smith, 30, has been charged with first-degree murder, attempted murder, and multiple firearm possession offences, including violating a court-ordered prohibition.
Additionally, Guelph resident Britney Graca, 24, has been charged with accessory after the fact to murder and several firearm possession charges.
## The Search for the Third Suspect
Despite the arrests, a third suspect remains at large. A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for the arrest of 27-year-old Akeem Richards, who is wanted for first-degree murder and attempted murder. Richards, described as six-foot-two and 220 pounds with black braided hair, is considered armed and dangerous. Authorities have urged the public not to approach him and to report any sightings to 9-1-1 immediately.
