Authorities in Los Angeles have identified the victim of Monday morning’s fatal stabbing at a Metro station in Universal City as Mirna Soza Arauz, a 67-year-old woman. Arauz tragically lost her life after being brutally attacked by a man as she exited the Metro B Line train at the station on Lankershim Boulevard at around 5 a.m.

Arauz was stabbed in the throat during the unprovoked assault and succumbed to her injuries after being rushed to a nearby hospital.
