The patrol officers, Caitlin Markey and Saleba Moshi, are both one-year veterans of the department, while the detectives, Gregory Parrott and Kristi Pratl, have 22 and 23 years of service, respectively.

Michigan State Police investigation ongoing

Michigan State Police are currently investigating the shooting, as is standard procedure in cases involving Lansing officers. All officers and detectives involved will remain on paid administrative leave during the course of the investigation.
