A woman in Woodbridge had a terrifying experience when her vehicle was caught in a gunfire exchange at an intersection in the area. According to the Prince William County police, the incident took place on Saturday evening at the intersection of Powells Creek Boulevard and River Ridge Boulevard.

**Police Response and Incident Details**

Officers received a report of gunshots around 8:51 p.m. on Saturday and rushed to the scene. They discovered that a 43-year-old woman had been stopped at the intersection, waiting for a group to cross the street, when a Honda suddenly pulled around her. The Honda then stopped at the intersection and began exchanging gunfire with the group on foot.

The woman’s vehicle was struck by the gunfire before she managed to drive away. Luckily, no injuries were reported, and there was no additional property damage. Police recovered shell casings at the scene and stated that the incident did not appear to be random. While there were no descriptions of the suspects involved, it was noted that the group crossing the street consisted of males.

**Other Incidents in Woodbridge**

In addition to the gunfire exchange incident, several other notable incidents were reported in the Woodbridge area over the weekend. One such case involved an armed robbery at the Tobacco King and Vape store on Old Bridge Rd. Two men entered the store, with one grabbing items from an employee while the other suspect destroyed merchandise. They then fled to the parking lot, where a third suspect joined them. One of the suspects brandished a firearm when an employee tried to follow them. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but vape products were reported missing.

Another incident involved an attempted residential burglary at the Stonebridge Terrace Apartments, where a masked individual kicked the front door of an apartment several times before fleeing. The accused was later identified as a 15-year-old male juvenile and charged with attempted burglary and possession of burglarious tools.
