Tragic Accident Claims Life of Litchfield County Resident in Hartford Crash
In a devastating turn of events, a fatal crash occurred on Saturday, April 13, around 8:15 p.m. on the westbound side in Hartford. A 2012 Honda Pilot EXL was travelling near the entrance ramp to I-91 when it tragically struck a pedestrian before coming to a stop in the left lane.

The pedestrian, identified as Raphael Rodriguez, a resident of Litchfield County from Torrington, suffered severe life-threatening injuries in the collision. He was promptly rushed to Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, where he was sadly pronounced dead by Connecticut State police.
The driver of the Honda Pilot, a 33-year-old woman from Tolland County in the town of Vernon, was also involved in the incident.
