Reports from the Highway Patrol indicate that the crash occurred when a Kia Forte carrying three individuals came to a stop on the highway. This sudden stop caused a tractor-trailer to collide with the vehicle from behind. The Richland County Coroner, Naida Rutherford, has released the names of the victims involved in the fatal collision. The first victim has been identified as Danesha Walker, a 28-year-old resident of Columbia, SC. The second victim is Shyheim White, a 25-year-old from Gadsden, SC. The third victim has been identified as Zhyon Burgess, a 24-year-old from Spartanburg, SC.
