Harris Jr., allegedly pointed a gun at another driver and ended up crashing into their vehicle during the altercation in the area of Indian Boundary Road.

The incident reportedly began when a Chesterton resident was driving eastbound on Indian Boundary Road on a Sunday afternoon. Things took a dangerous turn when Harris, who was driving behind them, allegedly pointed a handgun at the other driver and the occupants of the vehicle. The argument continued as both vehicles turned north on Ind. 49, with Harris reportedly making a U-turn and heading west on Indian Boundary Road. The Chesterton resident followed, leading to a collision at the intersection of North Calumet Road.
