Despite paramedics’ efforts to revive him, Mr. Stav could not be saved, leaving his friends and loved ones devastated.

Mr. Stav had moved to Cairns two years prior, where he found work as an aquaculture technician researching marine life. Additionally, he volunteered as a mathematics teacher for at-risk youth, making a positive impact on the community and forming strong bonds with those around him. Plans were in place for Mr. Stav to settle in Australia permanently, with dreams of owning a boat and property in Cairns.
