In a bizarre turn of events, five workers were arrested on Monday for serving samosas filled with condoms, gutkas, and stones to a major automobile company based in Pimpari Chinchwad. The accused individuals have been identified as Rahim Shaikh, Azhar Shaikh, Mazhar Shaikh, Firoz Shaikh, and Vicky Shaikh. Two of the arrested workers were from a subcontracting firm that was tasked with supplying the tainted samosas, while the other three were partners of a firm whose contract had been previously cancelled due to adulteration in the snacks.

The Investigation

The automobile company had hired Catalyst Service Solutions Pvt. Ltd. to provide snacks for their canteen, who in turn subcontracted the task to Manohar Enterprise. During the investigation, it was discovered that two workers from Manohar Enterprise, Firoz Shaikh and Vicky Shaikh, had stuffed the samosas with inappropriate items. Upon questioning, it was revealed that the partners of SRA Enterprises, who had been removed from the contract earlier for a similar offense, had sent the two employees to tarnish the reputation of Manohar Enterprise.

The Charges

The police have registered a case under IPC sections 328 (causing harm by means of poison) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) against the accused individuals. Further investigation is currently underway to uncover any additional details surrounding the incident and to ensure justice is served.
