Tragic Road Accident Claims Two Lives in Patna
In a tragic turn of events, a road accident on J P Ganga Path in Patna late Monday night has resulted in the loss of two lives. The victims, identified as Shiv Kumar (25) and his sister-in-law Prerna Mishra (32), succumbed to their injuries at the Patna Medical College Hospital on Tuesday, according to the police.

Details of the Accident
The incident occurred when Shiv and Prerna were on their way to PMCH after receiving news that Prerna’s husband had been involved in a road accident near Patna Junction and was admitted to the hospital. Their bike collided head-on with an SUV on J P Ganga Path near Krishna Ghat around 9.30 pm on Monday.
Abdul Haleem, SHO of Pirbahore police station, revealed that both the injured individuals were rushed to the hospital immediately after the accident. Sadly, they could not survive their injuries and passed away the following day. The driver of the SUV also sustained injuries in the collision.
