Tragic Incident in South Philadelphia Leaves One dead
A young man, 22-year-old Mang Sang, tragically lost his life in a violent altercation in South Philadelphia on Monday night. The incident took place at around 7:40 p.m. in a parking lot under Interstate 95, at the intersection of Front and Morris streets. police reports indicate that Sang was involved in a fight with another man, which escalated to a horrific extent.

Details of the Altercation
During the altercation, Sang was knocked to the ground by the suspect. In a shocking turn of events, the suspect then proceeded to run Sang over with a white Kia, causing fatal injuries. Sang was found with a laceration to his neck while still trapped underneath the vehicle. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Investigation
Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small mentioned that the suspect fled the scene on foot after committing the heinous act. The police are currently investigating the motives behind the altercation and are appealing to the public for any information that may aid in solving the case. Officers recovered a folding knife with a four-inch blade at the scene, adding to the evidence being collected in the investigation.
