Man Arrested for Attempted Murder in Kochi
In a recent development in Kochi, a 30-year-old man named NA Yusuf, also known as Vadival Yusuf, was arrested by the Palarivattom police for an attempted murder case. The incident took place back in February when the suspect, along with an accomplice, tried to run over a man with an iron rod. This horrifying act was a result of a heated argument that had taken place at a roadside stable. The suspect went into hiding after the crime, but a special team led by ACP Rajkumar and DCP KS Sudarshan was formed to track down the culprits.

Seizure of Ganja Leads to Arrest of Palakkad Resident
Another arrest made by the Palluruthy police involved a resident of Palakkad who was apprehended in connection with a case where 174.5 kg of ganja was seized from a car. The suspect, identified as Mohammed, was the seventh person arrested in this case. The contraband had an estimated value of over Rs 50 lakh. Mohammed was picked up from his hideout in Bengaluru on the orders of the police commissioner.
