ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A 21-year-old Florida man, identified as Issac King, found himself in hot water after a reckless escapade on Friday night in Orange County.
The High-Speed Chase
According to authorities, King was spotted by a Florida Highway Patrol trooper driving his Black Audi at speeds exceeding 100 mph on State Road 91 around 5:50 p.m. The trooper attempted to pull King over, but instead of complying, King accelerated and fled from the scene, endangering other motorists in the process.
A Series of Dangerous Maneuvers
During the pursuit, King recklessly weaved in and out of traffic, forcing other vehicles off the road. At one point, he even took the Clarcona-Ocoee Road exit, speeding at 70-90 mph in a 45 mph zone. As the chase continued, the trooper noticed smoke emanating from King’s Audi, indicating potential mechanical issues.

The Dramatic Conclusion
As King approached an area with heavy traffic, he lost control of his vehicle, crashing into the back of a white Kia. Following the collision, King attempted to flee on foot but was soon apprehended by authorities. Upon searching his vehicle, troopers discovered a handgun and a fraudulent driver’s license in King’s possession.

King now faces a slew of charges, including driving with a suspended license, reckless driving, fleeing at high speeds, resisting an officer, unlawful possession of a weapon as a felon, and possession of fake identification.
