The prime accused responsible for the attack has been identified as Mussavir Hussain Shazib. Additionally, the agency has named Abdul Matheen Taahaa as a co-conspirator in the heinous crime. Arrest of Logistics Support Provider
In a recent development, Muzammil Shareef, a resident of Khalsa in Chikkamagaluru district, was apprehended for providing logistics support to the main accused persons. Shareef was taken into custody on March 26 and has since been examined by the NIA during his time in police custody.
NIA Conducts Search Operations
To locate and apprehend the absconding accused persons, the NIA carried out searches across 18 locations in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Uttar Pradesh.
