Details of the Incident

The accused, identified as Rajanikanta Ranajit, a 42-year-old migrant worker from Odisha, was taken into custody by the Thrissur railway police. He has been booked under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code for intentional murder or causing death with knowledge.

Reports indicate that Rajanikanta was travelling without a ticket on the train.
