Recently, 19-year-old Kaveous Bracy was charged with first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery, and aggravated assault in connection with the incident. Bracy was identified as one of the suspects through surveillance video and CrimeStoppers tips. police located Bracy at the same apartment complex where the shooting occurred and brought him in for questioning. During the interrogation, Bracy reportedly confessed to shooting Mason, known to him as “MJ.”
