Arrests Made in Connection to Robbery on Moseley Drive

In a recent incident on Moseley Drive in Lynchburg, three individuals were arrested in connection to a robbery that took place on April 2. The Lynchburg police Department (LPD) responded to a call around 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, leading to the apprehension of the suspects involved in the crime.

Details of the Robbery

Upon arriving at the scene on Moseley Drive, officers found a male victim who reported that two individuals, identified as Amber Hamilton and Jesse Williams, had allegedly stolen money and personal belongings from him. The victim also stated that Williams had assaulted him with a pair of brass knuckles, while Hamilton had reportedly shot him with a BB gun before fleeing the area.

Following the incident, Williams and Hamilton were located and taken into custody by LPD officers at a residence in Madison Heights. A search warrant was issued for the home, leading to the discovery of evidence related to the robbery. Additionally, police seized approximately two pounds of marijuana, cocaine, and a shotgun during the investigation.

Charges and Legal Proceedings

Barry Samuel Willis, aged 28 and a resident of Madison Heights, was charged with various offenses including Possession of Schedule I/II Drug, Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, and Possession of a Weapon in connection with the distribution of marijuana. Willis was taken to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority in Amherst and is currently held without bond.

Amber Dawn Hamilton, aged 29 and also a resident of Madison Heights, faced charges of Assault and Battery, Robbery, and brandishing/Pointing a Firearm. Hamilton was transported to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority in Lynchburg and was held on a $7,500 bond.

Jesse David Williams, aged 32 and a resident of Amherst, was charged with Assault and Battery, and Robbery. Williams was also taken to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority in Lynchburg and is currently held without bond.
