An April Fool’s Day prank took a tragic turn in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore, as an 18-year-old student lost his life while pretending to commit suicide by hanging during a video call with a friend. The victim, identified as Abhishek Raghuvanshi, made a fatal mistake while attempting to fool his friend on April 1, a day known for playful tricks and pranks.

### Tragedy Strikes During April Fool’s Day Prank
The incident unfolded at Raghuvanshi’s residence on Monday, where he decided to play a prank on a friend by appearing to hang himself with a noose around his neck. However, the harmless joke quickly turned into a nightmare when the stool supporting him slipped, leaving him suspended in the air with the noose tightening around his neck. Additional Deputy Commissioner of police Rajesh Dandotia confirmed the heartbreaking details of the accident.
### Victim Identified as Son of SDM’s Driver
Raghuvanshi, the son of a sub divisional magistrate’s driver, tragically lost his life in the ill-fated prank. Following the incident, the site was sealed off, and a post-mortem examination is underway to determine the exact cause of death. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding Raghuvanshi’s untimely demise from all possible angles.

In a separate incident, a 36-year-old man named Sanju allegedly committed suicide at the Government Medical College by jumping from the fourth floor of the building. Sanju, described as an alcoholic, had been admitted to the hospital for a head injury sustained while intoxicated. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries while being rushed to the emergency room.
