A daring incident unfolded on Saturday afternoon in northwest Harris County, as captured in a video provided by the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. The footage showed a man taking matters into his own hands by throwing his weedwhacker at a suspect during an attempted robbery.

The dramatic event took place around 4 p.m. on Renmark Lane near Cypresswood Drive. Reports indicated that a group of men in two separate vehicles were in the process of stealing a landscaper’s lawn equipment from his vehicle. When the landscaper noticed the theft in progress, he bravely confronted the suspects as their cars approached him.
In a bold move, the landscaper hurled his trusty weedwhacker at one of the vehicles, striking one of the suspects who subsequently fell out of the car. Despite the landscaper’s valiant effort, the suspect managed to reenter the vehicle and make a hasty escape from the scene.
