The Jasper police Department’s Recent Drug Investigation

The Jasper, Missouri Police Department recently conducted a drug investigation that resulted in the arrest of two individuals. The incident took place on Tuesday, March 26th, 2024 at 307 E. Grand Ave., Jasper, Mo. Darrell Thomason, the resident of the address, was involved in the investigation.

Discovery of Meth-Related Drug Paraphernalia

During the search of the residence, officers discovered meth-related drug paraphernalia. Additionally, they found Joshua Garber hiding behind a dresser. Garber was identified as having active felony warrants out of Jackson County, Mo for 2nd degree assault and child molestation.

Arrests and Charges

Joshua Garber was taken into custody and transported to the Jasper County jail for his active warrants and possession of meth-related drug paraphernalia. Darrell Thomason was also arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and taken to the Jasper County jail.

History of Drug-Related Incidents

The residence at 307 E. Grand Ave. has had several drug-related incidents over the past 10 years. Due to the frequent drug arrests and the poor conditions of the house, charges for “maintaining a nuisance” will be submitted to the Jasper County Prosecutor’s office.
