Police Commissioner B Dayananda shed light on the case, stating, “A laptop, charger and mouse were reported stolen from a rented house under the HAL police station, leading to a case being registered at the HAL police station back in October of last year.” The subsequent investigation ultimately led to the arrest of Agarwal, who was found to have operated primarily in PG areas near software companies located in Tin Factory, Marathahalli, Bellandur, Silkboard Hebbala, Whitefield, and Mahadevpur.
