1. Newly released police video provides a closer look at a tense domestic situation in Clio. The standoff between the police and the suspect, identified as Eric Bennett, 28, ended in tragedy as Bennett shot and killed Casey Gipe, 51, and Ron Tatro, 31. Bennett and Tatro were in a relationship, and a heated argument led to the fatal shooting.

2. A mid-Michigan man is awaiting official charges after being arrested in Ohio for a double-shooting in Bridgeport Township. Bryant Brown allegedly shot and killed Chasity Jackson, 38, and critically injured a 17-year-old. State police are collaborating with Bowling Green police and Ohio authorities on this case.

3. After almost four years of being closed due to flood damage, Sanford’s recreational area is set to reopen on April 1. The village president, Dolores Porte, emphasized the significance of this centralized location for athletes and parents, bringing stability back to the community.

4. Flint Mayor Sheldon Neeley will be participating in an event where local children can open their first bank accounts. Children under 17 years old will receive a $10 deposit courtesy of Financial Plus Credit Union at their main branch on Van Slyke Road.

5. The Saginaw County Courthouse is gearing up for Saturday’s Easter Egg Hunt in Old Town with human-sized bunnies on display.
