An Indian-origin man named Harshkumar Ramanlal Patel, also known as ‘Dirty Harry’, has recently pleaded not guilty to charges of human smuggling in connection with the tragic deaths of four members of a family from Gujarat. The victims, Jagdish Patel (39), his wife Vaishali (37), and their two young children, Vihangi (11) and Dharmik (3), lost their lives while attempting to cross the US-Canada border into Minnesota. The family was found frozen to death near Emerson, Manitoba, just 10 meters from the Canada-US border.

The Legal Proceedings
Patel submitted his plea during a teleconference with US Magistrate Judge Leo Brisbois in Duluth.
