A 19-year-old man, Joshua Navarrete Castro, has been arrested in Beaufort County, South Carolina, after a terrifying shooting incident on Fording Island Road. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received a call just after 5:20 p.m. on Tuesday from a man who reported being shot at while driving on Fording Island Road. The victim explained that he noticed a car closely following him as he left Hilton Head Island. A verbal altercation ensued between the victim and Castro after they crossed the Hilton Head bridges.
As the victim continued driving, Castro fired shots into the passenger door of the man’s car before turning around and heading back towards Hilton Head Island. Thankfully, the victim was unharmed during the incident.
