Currently, the warehouse is occupied by Essity, a company that specializes in storing and distributing paper products. An additional building on the site, which was previously used as a Tesco supermarket in the early 2000s, remains vacant.

Situated adjacent to Paragon Business Park and St Josephs Roman Catholic High School and Sports College, the location offers a strategic advantage. The site was purchased in 2020 by Promontoria Horwich Ltd, a subsidiary of the investment fund SIRE (Strategic Industrial Real Estate). The company has submitted a comprehensive design and access statement along with the proposed plans for the redevelopment.
