Amid intense military activity, UN humanitarian officials reported that two-thirds of Gaza’s 36 hospitals are currently non-operational. The closure of Al Amal hospital in the southern part of the territory has further strained healthcare services, leaving only 12 functioning hospitals in Gaza, with varying levels of operational capacity.

The recent escalation of violence in the region has had a profound impact on communities on both sides, with innocent civilians and first responders bearing the brunt of the conflict. The ongoing clashes underscore the urgent need for a peaceful resolution to prevent further loss of life and suffering..
