The death toll from Israeli airstrikes across southern Lebanon has climbed to 16, including several militants and members of paramedic groups, according to Lebanese state media and the militant organizations. The United Nations has expressed concern over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, with over 70% of the population in northern Gaza facing catastrophic hunger. Efforts to deliver aid to those in need have been hindered by fighting and access constraints.
In Lebanon, Israeli airstrikes killed nine people, including paramedics preparing to respond to the strikes. Hezbollah retaliated by firing rockets into northern Israel, resulting in one fatality. The conflict has claimed the lives of nearly 240 Hezbollah fighters and around 40 civilians in Lebanon, as well as nine civilians and 11 soldiers in Israel.
