Murder Spree in Delhi Leaves Six dead

In a series of tragic events, the national capital of India, Delhi, witnessed six murders on Monday. The Delhi police reported that the motives behind these heinous crimes ranged from personal fights to dowry harassment.

Woman Fatally Shot in Outer Delhi

One of the incidents took place in Outer Delhi’s Mongolpuri area, where a woman was shot dead at 8:42 am in F Block. The police were alerted to the scene through a PCR call to the Mongolpuri police station. Upon arrival, they found Malti, along with her son and daughter, lying injured in front of their house. Tragically, Malti succumbed to her injuries, while her children were rushed to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital for treatment.

The main accused, identified as Vivek, was apprehended with a countrymade pistol, along with another individual named Umesh Devi. The police suspect that the crime was driven by a property dispute, as both the accused and the victim lived in the same building on different floors.

Unidentified Woman Found Dead Near Railway Tracks

In a separate incident, the body of an unidentified woman was discovered near the Mongolpuri railway tracks with a head injury. The victim, a 24-year-old resident of Sultanpuri, was wearing a light blue suit and had a tattoo reading “Jasnil” on her left hand. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding her death.

Dowry Death in Alipur

Tragedy struck in Alipur as 27-year-old Aarti was found dead with her throat slit at her residence. It was revealed that Aarti had been subjected to dowry harassment by her husband and in-laws, leading to her untimely demise. Four individuals, including the husband and in-laws, have been arrested in connection with the case.

Additional Murder Incidents Across Delhi

The remaining three murder cases occurred in various parts of Delhi, including Northeast Delhi’s Shastri Park, Shahdara’s Seemapuri, and North Delhi’s Gulabi Bagh. In one instance, a 22-year-old man was killed in Shastri Park following a personal quarrel.

The Delhi Police are actively investigating these incidents to bring the perpetrators to justice and ensure the safety of the city’s residents.
