Triple Murder Case Cracked in Tumakuru
In a chilling turn of events, the Tumakuru police have successfully cracked a triple murder case that has left the community in shock. The prime accused, Patharaju alias Rajaguru Kumar, a self-proclaimed priest of Sira Gate, along with a gang of seven others, has been arrested in connection with the gruesome crime.

The Victims
The victims, Ishaq Simam, Shahul Hameed, and Siddique Abdul Khadar, from Belthangady taluk, met a tragic end in a dispute over a supposed treasure. The trio had contacted Patharaju and paid him a hefty sum of ₹6 lakh in the hopes of gaining access to the hidden treasure. However, as time passed and the promised treasure failed to materialize, tensions escalated between the two parties.
The Deception
Patharaju, in a bid to cover up his deception, enlisted the help of a group of college dropouts and unemployed youth from his area. Promising them a share of the treasure, he lured the victims to Beeranakallu, where a deadly trap awaited them. Armed with weapons, the accused ambushed the trio upon their arrival, brutally murdering them in cold blood.
A Gruesome Discovery
After the heinous act, the bodies of the victims were transported to the Kuchangi lakebed area and set on fire in an attempt to destroy all evidence. However, thanks to the swift action of the police team led by Superintendent of Police Ashok K.V., the perpetrators were identified and apprehended.
The Accused
The gang of criminals, consisting of Gangaraju, Madhusudhan, Naveen, Krishna, Ganesh, Kiran, and Simon, now face charges of murder and destruction of evidence. The police are delving deeper into Patharaju’s criminal background to uncover any previous nefarious activities he may have been involved in.
