On the fateful night of July 2-3, 2016, an argument broke out among the four men after consuming alcohol. This led to a heinous plan being hatched by Bablu Nat, Kabir Nat, and Mohd Aslam to rob Bandhu Rai of his money. As a result, Bandhu Rai was restrained, strangled, and robbed before the perpetrators fled the scene.
