In a tragic turn of events, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office has identified the deceased woman found on Sunday as 60-year-old Lindy Rummell of Brush Prairie. The investigation into her murder has led to the arrest of her husband, James Rummell, and another suspect, 55-year-old Darrell Riley.

As the CCSO Major Crimes Unit delved deeper into the murder investigation, a tip was provided to law enforcement regarding a potential suspect. This tip ultimately led to the arrest of Darrell Riley by the Eugene police Department in Oregon. Riley is currently being held on a Temporary Felony Warrant for Murder in the First Degree, requested by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

During the investigation, a stolen Ford F-150 linked to the incident was recovered in a rural area of Benton County, Oregon. While official identification of the deceased will come from the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office, Lindy Rummell has been identified by the CCSO.
