Trusting the man, whom she later identified as Davidson Martin, Ramos got into his vehicle. However, her relief quickly turned to horror as Martin violently attacked her along the way, leaving her with serious injuries.
Facing the Aftermath
Despite the brutal assault, Ramos managed to escape and flag down a car for help. She was taken to a hospital where it was revealed that she had lost vision in her left eye and suffered severe damage to the left side of her face.
The island’s police force swiftly took action, charging 29-year-old Davidson Martin with Inflicting Grievous Bodily Harm. According to the authorities, the charge was laid following an investigation into the attack on Ramos.
