The Murder Trial at the Old Bailey
Four individuals, including Karl Black, Ayyub Kigoz, Jabir Sitar, and Jahoe Allen, appeared at the Old Bailey on Friday, March 22. They were found guilty of the murder of 25-year-old Jordon Briscoe in March 2023. The tragic incident occurred after Jordon was ensnared in a drugs deal orchestrated by the group.

The Suspects and Their Background
The accused individuals, aged between 18 and 43, were identified as residents of Walthamstow. Additionally, Christina Manen, a 36-year-old woman from Ramsgate in Kent, was also found guilty of manslaughter for her role in the crime. She posed as a fake cannabis buyer and lured Jordon to a meeting location in Tottenham.
The Night of the Murder
The Metropolitan police were called to Arnold Road around 10.15pm on Sunday, March 5, 2023. Despite efforts from both the police and paramedics, Jordon was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital. A post-mortem examination revealed that the cause of death was trauma to the chest.
The Investigation and Evidence
Specialist murder detectives launched an investigation into the murder. They found Jordon’s phone at the scene, which contained messages offering cannabis for sale to multiple recipients. CCTV footage and witness statements indicated that the group surrounded Jordon, questioned him, and ultimately inflicted the fatal blow.
The Outcome and Sentencing
All four attackers will face sentencing on Monday, April 29. Chief Inspector Linda Bradley, who led the investigation, expressed the devastation experienced by Jordon’s family. She highlighted the defendants’ attempts to shift blame onto each other during the trial, noting that the jury saw through their lies. CI Bradley emphasized that the suspects will now face a significant amount of time behind bars.
