A private security company owner, Dhananjay Sabhanarayan Tiwari, tragically passed away after an altercation with a group of men at the Tarachand Hospital gate in Rasta Peth. Tiwari, a 57-year-old resident of Dangat Nagar in Wadgaon Dhayari, was the owner of Bharat Security.

Altercation at the Hospital Gate
The incident occurred on March 20 when Anup Singh, a security guard from Tiwari’s company, confronted two youngsters who had parked a motorcycle in front of the hospital gate. When Anup asked them to move the motorcycle, they became aggressive and physically attacked him. The situation escalated when the duo called for reinforcements, who proceeded to assault Anup.
Intervention and Tragic Outcome
Upon witnessing the assault on Anup, Tiwari and Ashok Singh, the security supervisor, intervened to protect their colleague. However, they too were subjected to violence, with the assailants even hurling cement blocks at them. The brutal attack left Tiwari feeling unwell, and he was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Legal Action and Investigation
Ashok Singh filed a First Information Report (FIR) against six men at the Samarth police station following the incident. The police have charged the accused individuals under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including causing death by negligence.
Police Investigation and Arrests
Police Sub Inspector Saurabh Mane, the investigating officer in the case, revealed that Tiwari’s death was likely a result of a stroke triggered by the violent altercation at the hospital gate. Four suspects, identified as Prasad Suryawanshi, Abbas Shaikh, Somesh Shinde, and Shoaib Shaikh, have been arrested, with further investigations ongoing.
