The Victim
Upon their arrival, officers found the 39-year-old victim lying on the floor with multiple stab and laceration wounds to his back, arms, thigh, and head. The Suspect
The victim identified his attacker as Brandon McCourt, who was subsequently located and apprehended by CPD officers. The suspect was found hiding in a wooded area between Camper Street and the Board of Education by a CPD officer on foot patrol.

Charles Brandon McCourt has been charged with first-degree attempted murder, second-degree attempted murder, assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree, reckless endangerment, and intent to injure with a dangerous weapon.
