Suspected Robber killed in police Encounter
In a dramatic turn of events on Tuesday night, a suspected robber met his demise in an ‘encounter’ with the police in North Nazimabad. Central SSP Zeeshan Shafiq Siddiqi revealed that the encounter unfolded in Block-J, where an intense exchange of gunfire occurred. The suspect, identified as Fahad alias Psycho, was fatally shot, while his partner, Bilal Haider, was apprehended by the authorities. Unfortunately, a fruit vendor named Sohail Ikhlaq was caught in the crossfire and sustained injuries. The SSP asserted that the vendor was hit by stray bullets during the chaos. The police managed to recover a 9mm pistol, two stolen cell phones, and a motorbike from the suspects. One of the cell phones had been snatched from a civilian outside Lucky One Mall, while the other was taken near PNS flats close to Nagan Chowrangi.
