The Fairfax County police Department (FCPD) has identified the 18-year-old suspect responsible for the shooting that tragically left a teenager dead. Ismael Cruz-Delcid, of Herndon, has been named as the perpetrator of this heinous act. An arrest warrant has been issued for Cruz-Delcid for second-degree murder and the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony. Additionally, another warrant stemming from a previous narcotics investigation for distribution of cocaine has also been obtained.

The shooting took place in the 13000 block of Coppermine Rd. at a hotel where three teenagers were involved in a physical altercation.
