In a recent development, the Miyapur police in Hyderabad arrested five individuals for robbing a cab driver near the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Shamshabad. The arrested individuals have been identified as Balagani Nancharaiah, Pittu Nagireddy, Singoti Sivanagaraju, Kesana Shiva, and Bodi Subba Raju, all from the erstwhile Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.

Details of the Robbery
The incident took place on March 14 when the culprits approached the cab driver while he was waiting for passengers in Miyapur. Pretending to be passengers in need of a ride to the airport, they lured the driver into their cab. However, once near the airport, they assaulted and kidnapped the driver, driving him to Choutuppal.
Upon reaching Choutuppal, the perpetrators threw the driver out of the vehicle and fled with the car. The victim reported the incident to the Choutuppal police, who in turn informed the Miyapur police. An investigation was launched, and with the help of CCTV footage and technical evidence, the culprits were apprehended, and the stolen vehicle was recovered.
Prior Criminal Involvement
It was revealed that Nancharaiah, Nagireddy, Sivanagaraju, and Shiva had previous involvement in murder cases in Andhra Pradesh. The individuals committed the robbery in an attempt to make a quick profit. Despite their criminal history, this brazen act led to their arrest and subsequent remand to judicial custody.
