At around 2:16 am, authorities received a distress call regarding the collapse of the building. While the first floor was unoccupied, the ground floor was being used as a workspace for employees of a jeans factory.
Victims Identified
Tragically, three workers were trapped under the debris following the collapse. They were quickly rescued and rushed to GTB hospital for medical treatment. Regrettably, two of the workers, identified as Arshad aged 30 and Tauhid aged 20, succumbed to their injuries. The third worker, Rehan aged 22, is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
