Victim Identified in Jamestown Shooting
Jamestown police have identified the victim of Monday’s tragic shooting as Trevon D. Tripp, a 26-year-old resident of Dunkirk. The incident took place at a residence on 839 Prendergast Ave., where Tripp was found deceased in the apartment building. Two other individuals were also injured and are currently receiving treatment for their serious injuries.

The Jamestown Police Department responded to a reported gunshot complaint at the scene. Initial investigations indicate that the shooting was an isolated incident involving three individuals.
